This banana and honey hair mask is really hydrating and it''s going to give back the shine and nutrients to the hair that winter took away.

Bananas is rich in Potassium, Zinc and vitamin A making it nourishing and hydrating for the skin and hair. Honey soothes itchy skin and it makes your hair shinny and soft.

1 ripe banana and honey and a small bowl or better, a blender.

Use ripe banana because it''s easier to mash (if you are doing it by hand and fork). If your banana isn''t ripe yet, microwave it for 30 - 45 seconds. After you peel a banana, simply blend both, banana and honey... and you are ready to apply it on your hair.  If you have long hair you will probably need more than one banana.

Also, make sure you mash it or blend it really well, you don''t wan''t to have a banana chunks in you hair mask..washing banana chunks out of hair is pain in the ass...

Once you have a mix of both ingredients, spread the mask around your hands and start working it in your hair; Spread it through your hair by applying it from the hair ends to the roots, concentrating on tips because the are more dry, damaged and weak. To get yourself in a lot less mess, try apply it by sectioning your hair - you know, the same thing your hair dresser does when dying your hair.. put the upper half of hair up and apply the mask on the lower half. Then loose the rest of your hair and repeat the process.

The banana and honey hair mask is perfect if you are drying your hair a lot, because it will give back the softness and shine. It''s also a good way to get you hair back into shape after a cold winter that made it coarse and frizzy.

After applying it to hair, pin it on top of your scalp and let it do it''s mojo for 30 minutes or more.

You can also do a scalp massage which improves circulation and reduces a hair fall.

After 30 minutes or more, use a mild shampoo to get banana out of hair. Rinse well, gently towel dry your hair and air dry it.

You''ll notice your hair become more shinny, soft and willing. This hair mask is quick and easy to make, plus, chances are you already have the ingredients you need: banana and honey.

So what do you think... will you be making yourself a nice hair mask? Why or why not?
